My photography is a work in progress and I am always looking for ways to better it whether it is taking classes or joining groups or going on shoots with experienced pros there is always more to learn. I have always had a camera and loved taking the usual shots on trips and of the family but when I decided to get serious and got my first SLR, a Canon 1v, I was hooked. When digital came along it took me awhile to make the switch. It was the best thing I ever did and I haven't regretted it since.

I love to travel and living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest affords me lots of opportunity to shoot a very diverse scenery without traveling very far from home. There is so much to see and appreciate in our own backyards. I hope you enjoy my vision of my world.

I especially love shooting in ghosttowns, finding old barns and old cars and trucks along the road or in the fields. Landscapes make up the bulk of my portfolio but I will try anything. Macro shots are a favorite but I have yet to master them.
