patmark > "Marti Gras Mask". Venice, Italy. One of the many colorful masks created by local artisans for the annual marti gras festival in Venice. I have added photoshop effects to this to give it the look of a painting.

patmark > "Venice Balconies" Everywhere you looked in Vencie there were flower baskets and window boxes.
patmark > "Waiting Gondola". The gondola are waiting here for passengers, it was almost like a disneyland ride the way the tourists lined up and were boarded. Not as romantic as it might seem. You can also hire one on the Grand Canal and it is a little more personal.

patmark > The walkway to the Doges Palace. St. Marks Square. Beautiful and colorful and steeped in history.
